Baking Brownies with Mom
Hello everyone! I recently baked brownies with my mom, and they turned out amazing!
I have always loved brownies (who doesn’t), and it was a special occasion when we made them in our home. Strangely, one day it arbitrarily became a tradition to share the dessert when we had milestones in the family; for example, my mom baked me brownies when I graduated university, and decorated them with a little cap. I figured that it was time for me to learn how to make my mom’s famous brownies, so that I could carry on our silly little tradition. And I had to go to the expert.
I was upisland this weekend visiting my parents, and I hadn’t baked something yet that week for my project. My grandpa was also visiting and he has a sweet tooth, so I decided to bake brownies with my mom, despite there being no special occasion. I told my grandpa that anytime I get to see him, it is a special occasion <3
This week I learned an important tip: Do not fully melt the butter, because if it gets too hot, it has the potential to cook the eggs a little bit! My mom told me to wait, because I microwaved it for too long.

I asked my mom about the recipe, and it turns out it’s just the one on the back of the Fry’s cocao tin! All this time I thought they were her master creation…
I want to try something a bit more challenging next week, what should I make? Let me know in the comments.
